The hot dog stand in the parking lot of Home Depot is a staple. All American Hot Dogs (AAHD) has inserted itself in to the Home Depot shopping experience.
I was in need of some home improvement materials and headed over to The Depot. My first stop was AAHD and I picked up a spicy sausage. Coming right off the rollers, the sausage had a crispy outside that gave it a 'snap' with every bite. The sausage was both hot and salty and the martins potato roll was the perfect vessel upon which to hold this spicy delicacy. At $3, this was a great deal.
On my way out, knowing that I would not be returning for quite some time I stopped back at HD, I grabbed a hot dog. Once again, with a crisp outer shell that provided a snap with every bite and a martins potato roll that kept my hands nice and clean, this was a great dog. $2 for the dog seems to be the norm these days.
Overall, this is a hidden gem. While I would not go out of my way to grab a hot dog (they are not a routine part of my diet), this place is a must if you're stopping for some paint, pvc piping or lightbulbs.
